(03-02-11) “The SS Virginia” builded on 1891 as a luxurious passenger carrier, was converted to a troop transport named “USS Blueridge” and finally reconverted to 1.500 passenger and renamed “SS Avalon”. Now the boat lies in 80 feet of water near Palos Verdes, like a magnificent wreck. >>
